Our classroom would benefit immensely from the donation of 7 Chromebooks. Students use technology in class often to research for science projects including 3D Earth model choice projects, continental drift/plate tectonics Bobblehead projects, Adopt-a-Mineral projects and many more including the student's favorite, the volcano choice project. In the past, students have created eye-witness video interviews with classmates, recorded an original song about their project, and researched facts about their project, all while utilizing technology. Unfortunately, the pilot program which allowed us to have Chromebooks in our classroom has ended, leaving our school with a limited number of laptops to share among teachers which is even increasingly difficult while administrating required tests. The addition of these Chromebooks to our classroom would be monumental in student's success on their projects and research.
