Even though we are extremely limited in the classroom, they are very happy, excited and enthusiastic with their work. My students live in a low income community. Most of my students speak a language other than English at home so it is very important to provide them with plenty of opportunities to speak, listen, and write the English language while in school. My students love to read and if they are not reading yet, they love to listen to books. Literacy is a huge portion of our class and my students thrive for more. I would like to give them what they deserve. I would like them to be exposed to as many different types of text and literature as possible. I know they would greatly appreciate it!
