Technology is such a great resource within the classroom. We have access to 4 iPads and recently 2 Chromebooks. I purchased a set of headphones to use with this technology, but unfortunately, they have all broken and gotten tangled. We use technology throughout the whole day. During Math, the students use the iPads and Chromebooks to practice skills and to further their understanding of different concepts. They also use different apps on the iPads to enrich the skills they haven't learned yet. During reading, the students utilize the technology to further their understanding of phonics, grammar, and comprehension and practice fluency by listening to readers. With 22 students in the classroom and 6 pieces of technology working at the same time, it can get very loud and distracting for the students and other students in the classroom. The headphones will provide the students with that one-on-one opportunity to enrich their learning and solidify there understanding.
