I am a teacher of 23 first graders. Our school is a Title 1 school. Majority of our students come from low-income households. All students receive free breakfast and lunch. Resources are very limited for these children, but the eagerness to learn is plentiful. My students are special, bright, and most importantly loved. They walk into the classroom with positive attitudes and bright smiles, eager to see what's in store for that day. At such a young age, they understand the value of education. With the resources I have, I strive to teach them what is expected and so much more. There are so many resources available that I would love to provide that could help enhance their learning, but it is quite a challenge gathering the funds to do so. Our first grade class would greatly appreciate your help in funding our projects that focus on student success and learning and having fun while doing so.
