My students will enjoy being able to use an actual skeleton to learn the bones. With this skeleton, students will not only be able to reference each bone they are required to learn but will also be able to remove the bones without damaging the skeleton as we discuss the parts of the bones. Having the actual bones in their hands, enhances the learning experience as they make meaningful connections This skeleton will be the perfect learning tool for our classroom because of its flexibility and the variety of different body functions that are involved. This particular skeleton can be posed in any position and will remain in that position until moved again, so my students can actually use this skeleton to demonstrate the movement of each limb. This skeleton also provides several other exciting avenues for learning such as a slipped disc, rotating skull, and simulated breathing among other things.
