As my students become more aware of the happenings in the world around them, I would love to have the opportunity to provide them with current world news written in a format they can understand. Fifth graders love learning about the events occurring in the world around them but cannot always understand articles written for adults. It is extremely important that students get factual information about events from a reliable source like TIME for Kids. The articles in these magazines provide a connection to the real world for kids and also give a teacher great opportunities for class discussions about current events in their world.

About my class
