Middle school track and field allows all students to find something they enjoy and can be successful at. In this age range, the growth that students experience in a two month season is tremendous; as we say in practice "focus on getting better everyday." We recently had 132 students sign up for track and field this year. We need these requested ASICS and Saucony track and field shoes and Gill track spikes. This project will allow students who cannot afford track and field spikes to feel as successful and confident as their opponents when it comes time for our meets. Our meets are at the high school track, and students who have the means to own their own pair of track and field spikes experience a boost in confidence and enjoyment that we want all of our athletes to experience. Track spikes are a huge part of allowing students to be as successful as possible. These spikes will stay at our school and be used year after year until they require replacing.
