When our students come to us with all the "heavy stuff" they carry around with them from their personal life, it is hard to focus on school. Playing games and getting on the student's level makes therapy seem fun and helps lighten some of their heavy load. Small changes make a big difference when it comes to learning these skills. With the games and sensory toys we have requested, our students will be able to practice social skills and learn new coping techniques in a fun and natural way. These new skills they learn through these games can be applied throughout their lifetime.
