The students that are on my caseload need and benefit greatly using multi-sensory activities to learn how to print upper and lower case letters with the correct formation within boundaries using a mature pencil grip. The items that I have requested will make learning so much fun that students won't even know they are getting therapy! The tactile sandpaper letter and number sets, Wikki Stix alphabet cards, Grotto pencil grips, weighted pencil, incline board, Star Spacers, and raised line paper will help to develop and encourage their best handwriting. Manipulation of Wikki Stix will increase strength and fine motor coordination and the pencil grips will develop a mature and functional tripod pencil grasp. Students will most certainly enjoy learning how to print their letters and numbers using these entertaining hands on materials.
