Over the last 3 years, I've only had the opportunity to teach students at regular desks, which works for the "majority" of students, but I want my classroom to be conducive to learning for ALL students. My partner teacher has all sorts of options: futons, trapezoid tables, floor seating, bench seating, and more; the students love it! They get to choose a space where they are going to be most successful academically, and she inspired me to create a similar space for my students. These whiteboard trapezoid tables will be great for not only a different option compared to the regular desks, but they'll get to write and show work on their desks throughout their thinking process!
