By using magnetic letters and dry erase white boards, students will be given the opportunity to practice making and writing new words each day. These materials will allow students to be engaged in making new words using a hands-on approach which is proven by research to help the brain retain information. Students will LOVE being able to have their OWN white board and magnetic letters during small group learning time. The materials will allow students to quickly change one word into another using the magnetic letters to help them be better readers! Students needs lots of exposure to new words each day to retain them and be able to use them in their reading and writing. Students learn by doing and the white boards and magnetic letters will provide students the opportunity to learn while making and writing.
