My students need a dramatic play area in the classroom. Dramatic play in the classroom is essential for young learners. Students benefit from imaginary play because it allows them to express their emotions and feelings. It also allows many academic opportunities. This will allow them to learn and practice empathy, social skills, and storytelling. The use of the kitchen set and career costumes will allow for authentic experiences during play. This area will provide purposeful play that will incorporate all subjects. My students will learn to better cooperate with each other as a result of the dramatic play area. The dramatic play area will enrich the lives of my students for many years to come.
