With the class sets of books by Mary Downing Hahn the students will be able to build fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary skills while reading a book by a wonderful author. The children have always argued over the Mary Downing Hahn books and with these sets we will be able to read together and complete literature units as a class and everyone will have a book. I want the children to love reading and appreciate books. I teach reading to three classes a day and each class has around 20 students. My students actually voted for what sets to put on the donors choose site and are eager to begin a literature unit as soon as possible It thrills my heart to see my students excited about reading and eager to learn.

About my class
