The books that I have chosen will be used to enhance reading, writing, and character skills. By having a class set of each of these, my students will have the resources they need to fully grow as readers. This will give them the power to explore the text and use the strategies that we emphasize in class. When students have the opportunity to dig deeper into texts it broadens their understanding. This project will allow me to give my students the tools that they need to prepare them for 5th grade and beyond.
