Headphones will allow my readers to listen to reading. Listening to reading models fluency to students as well as supports comprehension. This is especially helpful for my struggling readers. Students may listen to books on their level or listen to books that they wouldn't be able to read otherwise. We also use our Chromebooks for classroom research as well as practicing our ELA and math skills. Students currently are trying to find headphones that still work or a quiet spot in our classroom, which is very hard to find in a tight space. The headphones we currently have are not kid-friendly and have frayed and or broke with everyday use. These new headphones will allow Chromebook use to become hassle-free for my students.
