Last summer, I decided to give flexible seating a try. With my own money, I purchased budget friendly items like yoga mats, pillows, beach chairs, and stools. They have been a HUGE success! This has inspired me add to the small collection. Since much of my class have ADD and ADHD issues, I know continuing and improving my flexible seating will increase student growth. Kids these days need a chance to move around and still be able to show growth. The bean bag chairs, soft seats, and floor seats would be perfect additions to my classroom. Flexible seating has already been helpful, and I hope this project will ensure successful years to come.
