Working with students with reading disabilities on a daily basis requires technology support. The accommodation of technology turns challenged reader/writers into highly successful learners. Thanks to technology, the impact of a reading/writing disabiity is minmized. Student confidence and success with learning soars. At our urban school, we have limited access to technology and we lose access entirely for weeks at a time when the computers are used for schoolwide testing. We can start to close the technology gap if we receive these three Chromebooks for students who have reading disabilities. Adding Chromebooks to my classroom would make a huge difference in our day to day learning and we would appreciate your support with this project.
