For this project, I chose Time for Kids weekly magazines. My classroom is made up of movers and shakers. These movers and shakers need a way to discover and investigate the world they live in without being overwhelmed. My students will be able to use the magazines to talk about issues that plague the very classroom they sit in each day. Food allergies, technology integration, healthy living, and politics. My students feel so deeply connected to the happenings in their world. Time for Kids helps connect students to real-world issues in an age appropriate and parent-approved way. We can debate issues, question the world around us, and inspire change through these magazines.
