My behavioral disordered students would greatly benefit from alternative seating. The carry me cubes and carry me cushions would be ideal for seating in my classroom. So many of my special education students cannot sit still and do not function well in a traditional classroom setting. The use of alternative seating has been proven to be beneficial to students that have a difficult time sitting in typical desk and chairs. Having furniture that allows students to move, twist, and be more comfortable helps them focus, learn, and be able to attend to their task. The seating is helpful in helping students be more successful and comfortable in school.
