As a College Adviser, with the College Advising Corps, my role is to work primarily with high school seniors on the college enrollment process. I assist seniors with everything from college applications and SAT/ACT registrations to FAFSA and housing deposits! I review my student's application essays, teach about topics such as email etiquette and organization, and take students on field trips to nearby colleges & universities! That said, one of my job goals is to build and maintain a college-going culture with my school, so I end up working with underclassmen as well. I created this classroom so that I could use college/life necessities as incentive for my students to complete college enrollment tasks and take steps toward their futures.
