We started using a flexible seating arrangement in my classroom this year. The students love being able to choose to sit at a table, on the floor or at a standing desk depending on which helps them focus better in class. Now, that we have started flexible seating, I am requesting additional materials so that all students can have a chance to try different types of seating: rocker chairs, floor desks, cube seats, yoga balls and lap desks. When my students are able to choose to sit or stand using different seats, this choice allows my students to have an ownership of their own personal learning style. Please consider our project and help our classroom expand the ways that our students can learn. Thank you!
