I have requested flexible seating such as a high top table and ball chairs so that my students can collaborate and be excited about their learning space. I am also requesting dry erase wall stickies to mount around the room so students will be able to use this tool to collaborate with each other. Timers and motion bubble timers will help create project-based learning and will help students stay on task. Creating these kinds of work environments will allow my students to be engaged and stay focused in the classroom. I am excited to hear the students reactions to when they choose a flexible seating option. I hear exclamations such as "Yes!" and "Oh! I can't wait to use this!" My goals are to provide every student with a safe, fun and comfortable learning environment and to provide more room in our classroom.
