My students are the most resilient kids I have ever met. They come from different populations, mostly poverty, but you would never be able to tell from their vast knowledge at 6 and 7 years old. Each of them has their own personality, which I LOVE! We attend a Title I school in Texas with an amazing love for learning. I am really looking forward to next year because I will loop with 90% of my class. Therefore, I will have seen them grow over 2 years. I can't wait. They don't know I'm going to teach 2nd grade yet. It's going to be a fun Back to School Night when they see my name again.
