My students are curious and eager to learn English! They work hard to pronounce words and sounds that are foreign to their ears. They are eager to speak correctly and giggle alot when trying to share their language and culture with their peers. Having content resources in the natives language of my students would enhance the academic experience for everyone! Building their Academic Content Language using Oxford Content Dictionaries and English Farsi/Spanish dictionaries will allow my students to engage easier with their peers and teacher; accessing the daily vocabulary that is used in the school. Students use Crayola colored pencils to code English grammar parts for easier identification; they draw and label using colored pencils during Guided Language Acquisition Development activities.
