The furniture that I am requesting for my students will transform my classroom into a real science lab. These lab tables will provide students with more space to perform hands-on activities, experiments and exploration stations. Students have toured the secondary schools on our campus and wonder why our science lab doesn't look like the middle and high school labs. These tables will also allow students to feel more like scientist. I have seen how furniture, anchor charts and decorations can alter the way students feel and interact in different classroom settings. Our students have never had a real science lab and are amazed that there is more to science than meets the eye.
