As a teacher of Kindergarten and first grade students, I’ve seen how hard it is for them to hold in their wiggles while they sit in class at their seats or the circle. That’s why I chose to make their wiggles my focus. I believe that with the flexible seating, students will be able to learn and focus while moving at the same time. Those tiny bodies hold so much energy and it is important that they aren’t punished because of it. This project is important to me because I want to offer more to my students in order to reach them and improve their learning and their ability to focus on their school work.
