Many of my low income students come on the first day of school with one pack of pencils and one pack of notebook paper, and that is all they have for the rest of the year. We go through hundreds of pencils for the school year, and we need a good reliable sharpener to help us keep those pencils sharpened! With this project, my students will have the basic supplies they need to have a productive school year. I am requesting various basic supplies for my students such as pencils, two classroom pencil sharpeners, cap erasers (the pencil eraser is used up within a week!), notebook paper, glue sticks, markers, and dry erase markers.
