Flexible seating options allow for students to explore and find where they learn the best. During small group learning, students use the stools to sit around a table. The stools allow for a group of students to sit together. While our classroom is just beginning to have a flexible seating choice, students almost always make smart choices about where they sit, and are more engaged in tasks. I am beginning to see how giving seating choices can positively affect student work and I hope that the additional options will help us grow even more! The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them more seating options around the room which meet the needs of each students learning style. Specifically, the butterfly chair will allow students to sit and work, for instance sitting comfortably while completing writing assignments. Meanwhile the wobble stools will allow for students to get his/her wiggles out while still completing tasks. I believe that providing choice can impact my students and cannot wait to watch us grow into successful learners.
