My students tend to learn best when they can move around and be flexible about their space. Although it may seem like this would create chaos with such young students, they actually thrive and rise to the occasion when given the freedom to choose for themselves. These donations will provide my students with the freedom to choose the best way for them to learn. I plan to use things like the lap desk and floor mats to give them the freedom to move around. The storage carts and shoe organizer will serve to organize student learning materials throughout the classroom. I will use the lamps to provide a comforting and relaxed learning space. I believe this classroom environment will help them grow into more independent and driven learners!
