My students are very excited about learning and sometime they are very competitive. I admire their tenacity to learn encourage one another to be successful and learn. They sometimes get discouraged when they may not have them supplies needed for the day, but they know they can depend on me to make whatever they need manifest. Although they thoroughly enjoy hands-on learning, educational supplies are scarce. Many of my students have limited access to resources such as: pencils, paper, erasers, glue, and notebooks are items that, due to a lack in finances. Thus, completing projects or even simple assignments can be a difficult task. Having the supplies requested will allow my students to have more opportunities to participate in contests and research projects with the general education population.
