The C-M Band program will use the Zoom H4N Pro to create quality recordings that will be beneficial in the classroom and in performance. These recordings will be used in rehearsals as a snapshot of students' progress and in performances. The recording quality of a phone, laptop, or iPad does not do the student's performance justice. The recording technology I currently have does not give students an accurate depiction of their sound. Students will be able to give feedback of their own performance from a quality example. This program's goal this year is to perform at our state bandmasters convention. There is a very selective committee and to audition, the band must submit a recording. The students have worked hard for this opportunity; a quality recording is the next step towards this goal.
