These tools will allow my students to meet with me in small groups and have tools to work on specific English/Language Arts skills. Students at our school typically do poorer in ELA than Math, so by having a table it will help me to be able to effectively monitor their progress throughout our mini lessons. Students will use sticky notes in order to make notes as we annotate and work on specific texts. Chart paper will help them to actively engage in our mini lessons. These tools are essential in order to foster a more detailed understanding of what they're reading.
