The use of virtual reality by students in a classroom takes the experience of learning to another level. Using VR, students are able to immerse themselves and collaborate in a world of learning that is simply unparalleled. Last year I was lucky enough to allow my entire school, over 700 students spanning from kindergarten to 5th grade, get a taste of this type of learning as I borrowed a VR system for only one week. After such a successful trial run with all of my students, I am extremely excited to have those students dive into more S.T.E.A.M. driven experiences! Simply put, if virtual reality would find its way into our art classroom for the students to use, the opportunities would be endless!
