Using the LEGO MINDSTORMS robot, my students will be able to see the programming principals they are learning in action. We will be able to create group projects to help students learn new coding skills. Having a robot to program and code, the students will get a hands-on experience in how programming can be applied in the real world. Many new jobs require coding skills and this project will help students to see those skills come to life in the real world. Many of today and tomorrow's jobs are moving towards automation. By starting to learn about robotics and the programming behind them, students will learn the skills to be successful candidates for these jobs.
