First of all, let me preface this by saying last year my school was devastated by Hurricane Harvey. We lost a lot in terms of supplies, books, paper, furniture. It was hard to go through it but we have all become stronger through it all as a community and a school district. I am the art teacher for our school. I am in charge of creating a brand new art program. It has been 20 years since our school district has had an art program. These supplies would definitely enhance their learning and provide much needed visual resources, artist books and some much needed supplies for two classrooms! Here are some of items I am asking for: * Art Display Cards-Art Display Cards - Art Styles• NASCO, Art Display Cards - Elements and Principles of Design • NASCO Art Display Cards Painting • NASCO, Drawing and Painting Tools• NASCO which are visual aids for the children, so they see exactly what I am talking about when it comes to which artist and what style. *Art Literature Books-Suzette and the Puppy A Story About Mary Cassatt, Camille and the Sunflowers A Story About Vincent van Gogh, Degas and the Little Dancer A Story About Edgar Degas, Rembrandt and the Boy Who Drew Dogs, Picasso and the Girl with a Ponytail A Story About Pablo Picasso. Art literature books which focus of one particular artist. This will definitely allow the younger children I will teaching a better understanding of the artist in visual/literature form. * Electric School Pencil Sharpener Pro Blue-gray• TEACHERS' SCHOOL SUPPLY. These are the main things I am asking for. I truly believe that with these visual aides and books my children will come to appreciate and love art as much as I do.Thank you so much!
