This project will take our students farther academically and personally. The students will work to their highest potential trying to earn a pair of shoes. Shoes are a necessity however most take the ability to own them for granted. To our students acquiring a pair of sneakers as a reward for their best efforts in the classroom would give them the innate sense of pride, status, and want to be the best. At our school, we strive daily to build our students up to make it to where most do not believe they can because of where they are from but this project will give us a great start! It is truly not where you are from that defines you but where you end up. Our students seeing that people care and believe in them will mean the world to them!
