Currently my students use an old and structurally defunct drying rack that is very difficult for them to work without an adult. It tilts so that their work slides out and/or is damaged. The movable racks are missing the stoppers that hold them apart, and this causes the racks to get tangled. They are difficult to dislodge for an adult, let alone a young child. This is discouraging to the students. They like to be able to do things independently. My students' works deserve to be treated like the masterpieces they are! New drying racks will enable my students to be more self-sufficient, and feel that their creations are important....because they are!
