I teach a dynamic group of kindergartners in a low-income, high poverty, urban setting with 100% of my students receiving free and reduce breakfast/lunch. I have a diverse group of students who include students with learning disabilities and English language learners, social-emotional and attention concerns, as well as general education students. As our society continues to evolve into a technology-driven community, we must ensure our children have digital literacy. The burden and honor, has fallen on educators to ensure students know how to use technology for educating purposes; not just entertainment. Therefore, my students need technology integration.
