The materials listed will make an impact on my students by allowing them to play with real world items and problem solve. Especially, if there are items they don't know how to use or have never had experience using in a safe and appropriate way. Through play, the kids will get to cook in a kitchen using pots and pans, food and utensils. Learn how to set a table with place mats, plates, forks and knives. Attempt to make tea in the kettle if someone is not feeling well or just sit and chat. Some will make toast in the toaster for breakfast with their eggs and bacon. It will encourage conversation and possibly a love for cooking. Maybe one child will be the next "Top Chef"
