I am the lucky teacher of 20 amazing third graders! My classroom is home to students with a variety of educational and personal needs. Starting 2015/2016 school year, the students are to take their state assessments on the computer. I would like the opportunity to get them as ready as possible for the test. Because of high expectations, my students have more rigorous educational needs. Students are interested in mastering and integrating increasingly complex material. Their sense of fulfillment comes from mastering higher levels of material and problem solving with increased difficulty. Most of my students have the ability to become wholly involved or immersed in a problem. They form a relationship with the topic and focus on the problems and the learning process, rather than a means to accumulate knowledge.
