I am a special education teacher in the Bronx, NY. Desperately in NEED of COLOR INK PRINTER! I work with students with special needs/ on the autism spectrum. Some of my students are verbal, non-verbal, readers and non-readers. They have different cognitive levels from (pre-k to third grade) As I prepare lessons and activities, I have to keep in mind their learning styles & prepare my lessons based on their learning styles. Most of my students are visual learners. My students are on different academic levels however all of them benefit from visual representations especially the non-readers. The visual representations assist them to understand lessons and activities better. Visuals (bright colors of pictures) help the students stay engaged in the activities. It is also difficult for my students to attend to task unless colorful Visuals are provided to them in order to help them to attend, focus &maintain attention
