We are a middle school inclusion program for students on the autism spectrum. Our students have so many strengths and reading is definitely one of them! Our students are some of the most fascinating kids I've had the pleasure to work with! Books will help our students with their coping strategies. Students on the autism spectrum can get overwhelmed and need to decompress. Books are a great way for our students regroup! Reading is a strength for our students, and they have huge imaginations! Reading is a great escape for our students! The more books we could have in our class the better.
