My sixth graders will not begin the new year having their own computers. Our school is very overcrowded and many times there are not enough computers for every student. Computers in the classroom will benefit student learning, so that they can keep up with their lessons. Also, many students do not have access to the internet. Having activities in the classroom will help those students who might feel out of place because of their circumstance. My students are also visual learners and the document camera will help them with their visual learning. In this new era of education, technology is the key. These items will create an environment of success in the classroom.
