I am so fortunate to have recently received NEW ROUND tables through my first Donors Choose Project. Previously, our science classroom was outfitted with large rectangle tables which were often in disrepair and damaged. My goal is to create a learning environment that allows for flexible seating and mobility during our science labs. Changing our seating from chairs to stools will allow my students to engage in learning stations more efficiently. Wobble stools are a great outlet for my energetic students and my kids can't wait to wiggle while they work! Complimenting our new round tables with stools will facilitate collaboration in my class and allow us to fully utilize our classroom space. Ultimately I would like to incorporate some soft seating and carpeting for students so that they may select their best learning environment. We are excited to continue our journey!
