Our students are beginning their school journey into the 21st century at a time when technology is being intertwined throughout the classroom daily. They have the opportunity to utilize technology while creating projects, practicing various skills and working on intervention programs in the areas of math and language arts. By using quality technology with good working headphones, our students are able to stay focused and tuned in to what they are working on. Headphones also help students listen to voice recordings without unnecessary background noise or when navigating their way through learning apps. Additionally, students will work with online reading and math intervention programs. These programs provide personalized learning on fundamental literacy and math skills, using research-based methods. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Orange Coast has generously awarded our school a Collective Impact Grant, which will match dollar for dollar all funds raised through DonorsChoose or a maximum of $5,000 per school. This matching grant means we can double your donation and make our funds go even further!
