Flexible seating is something I do with my kiddos already, but space and seating type is limited at this time. By fifth grade, students have a strong understanding of what works for them. In allowing for more choice like balance balls, students can choose areas around the room that will help them focus and feel comfortable in our classroom environment. It has always been my goal to have a classroom that feels more like a home, and flexible seating is one way to continue to work towards this. With this donation our kiddos will continue to understand that school is a place they feel safe, loved, and cared for. Implementing more choice will continue to help students thrive and will support good classroom behavior and attention. Traditional seating does not always provide what individual kiddos need to succeed. My hope is to change that.
