As we know, it is getting harder and harder to keep our current student engaged in lessons without the help of modern technology. Most students come to class with their technology glued to their hands. The best teachers will not fight this "losing" battle of removing it from class but, instead, find a way to use it towards the benefit of the learning process. Effective use of technology is something that the students need help learning and is beneficial in preparing them for college and career readiness. Even though most students have access to technology, there are still a few that do not. I would love to have a couple Chromebooks available in my classroom for those students that do not have access to the technology being used in classrooms.
