During any remote or hybrid instruction, I cannot share my screen for demonstration and still monitor student participation. With a second monitor/screen for my computer, I will be able to see the students, monitor behavior, see questions/raised hands, and still share my screen for instruction or demonstration. The additional monitor will also help me maintain my lab for in-person students by putting my lab-monitoring software on one screen and my demos on another. Our district is returning to 80% in-person teaching/learning but will continue with many students remaining fully remote. This additional monitor will help me to reach more students with my instruction.
