As my class transitions into reading beginning chapter books, they are falling in love with the lovable characters in several book series. Some examples of these characters are Henry & Mudge, Mr. Putter & Tabby, Annie & Snowball, and Katie Woo. We can't wait to take exciting adventures with the familiar characters in these series. We are hungry for more of these books to put in our classroom library. We know that the more we read, the better we get! These books will be used for independent reading, small group reading with the teacher, and for book clubs. These books will help us transition into real chapter books.

About my class
