Our world is full of technology. I want to provide the opportunity for my students to begin learning and exploring technology at a young age. The majority of my kids do not have access to much technology outside of school. There are so many amazing apps for children to help enhance their learning and spark an interest. I envision my students using their classroom iPads to practice the skills they are developing in Pre-K in math and language arts. They will be able to play games to increase their knowledge of letter sound connections or work on a math app where they are matching amounts to numbers. Putting an iPad at my students' fingertips is just another way to help my students learn through play and exploration. The iPads will also allow my students to experience technology they may otherwise never use. My goal is to eventually have 5 iPads for the classroom. This will allow students to work in an independent work station during our small group time.
